The Old Corkscrew Shop

In 1994 Jeremy and June opened The Old Corkscrew in Franschhoek, a picturesque town which is nestled in the Winelands of the Western Cape in South Africa. This unique antique shop has become a favourite call for dealers and collectors on holiday in South Africa.

Due to its location in this wine producing area, many wine related antiques can be found, including Africa's largest collection of antique and modern corkscrews.

Also included is a large selection of silver, as well as porcelain, glass, copper and furniture.

The shop is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The Shops location

The shop is a 45 minute drive from Cape Town and situated at 11 Main Road, Franschhoek, next to the BP garage.

As the shop is located at the entrance to Franschhoek's main shopping district parking on the main road is restricted so please make use of our free customer parking on the left hand side of the shop.
